CHRIS Holroyd was on the mark for Rotherham United in their opening reserve team fixture against Bradford City at Parkgate yesterday.
The striker, who played 45 minutes for the first team on Saturday, was one of several squad players in action in the 2-1 defeat, Bradford scoring twice late on.
Also included were Andy Warrington, Marcus Marshall, Luke Foster, Ben Pringle and Ollie Banks.
Manager Andy Scott watched the game at the club’s new venue for reserve team fixtures, with all home games now being played on Mondays. The Millers are at home to third-placed Gillingham in League Two on Saturday.
