LIAM Henderson could have put himself in the frame for a starting place again when Rotherham United go to Torquay tomorrow.
Henderson, on loan from Watford, was unfortunate to be left out at Burton on Saturday after making a good impression on his debut in the previous game at home to Accrington two weeks ago.
However, Ryan Taylor declared himself fit after a groin injury to go straight back in the side and, according to manager Ronnie Moore, justified his return with what he described as “an excellent performance.”
However, Henderson went on as a substitute with 20 minutes left and set up the equaliser for Marcus Marshall and might have scored at least two himself.
“It was a superb ball in for the goal,” said Moore. “It is more competition and gives me food for thought.”
The win, coupled with Shrewsbury’s draw at home to Gillingham, saw Rotherham move back into third.
