It’s been quite a start for Nouha Dicko. Four goals in your first four starts is good going by anybody’s standards.
He didn’t find the target in his first appearance, as a late sub against Carlisle, but he’s started the four games (before Saturday) since and scored in each one.
It so happens that he matched the feat of Daniel Nardiello earlier this season although Nardiello’s four in four was split because he missed two games in between his third and fourth appearances.
Millers boss Steve Evans acknowledged the impact the pacy Dicko has had since he arrived but made something of a “keep-feet-on-the-ground” statement when he said he was still getting there in terms of the desire, work rate and commitment that is demanded. Good but can do better.
