Coid keen on full switch to Millers

Have your say

DANNY Coid says he would be happy to make a permanent home at Rotherham United.

The right-back, on loan for a final month after previously being on loan for two months, is likely to be a target for other clubs on his return to Blackpool but he has hinted Rotherham have got a head start with several things in their favour.

“I like the togetherness of the lads, it’s rather like it is at Blackpool with a good dressing room,” said Coid who has been at Bloomfield Road all his career. “You want to go where you like people and where you are accepted and I like the set of lads. I’ve been accepted here and made welcome.

“There’ll probably be options but I would be happy to come here permanently. It’s rather different for me sort of being on trial because that’s what it rather feels like but I want to do my best and see where that leads me.”

Coid played at Burton and Torquay and his second home ‘debut’ will be against Barnet at Don Valley tomorrow.
