Rotherham United have broken their transfer record to land Peterborough winger Jon Taylor.
With the start of the Championship season only three days away, Taylor has signed a three-year deal with the Millers.
The fee isn’t as high as the £1 million mentioned in some reports but tops the estimated £350,000 Rotherham paid for Jonson Clarke-Harris two years ago.
Taylor will be available for Saturday’s home clash with Wolves, and there could be more arrivals at AESSEAL New York Stadium before then.
The 24-year-old scored 13 goals in 51 appearances for Posh last season and was one of the hottest properties in League One.
He becomes new manager Alan Stubbs’ sixth summer recruit.
