HANDSWORTH FC have vowed to fight on despite losing their appeal against being booted out of the Northern Counties East League.
Chairman John Ward said: “We held our hands up that our ground was not ready to meet grading requirements.
“But we had an agreement in place to play our games next season at Don Valley Stadium, which was accepted as new evidence at the (appeals) hearing - but again same result, dismissed.
“This would not be a ground-share with Sheffield Eagles. They are a rugby club that play on Sunday.
“We would have had sole use of the ground for Saturdays. The future of Handsworth is in the balance but we fight on.”
