Pupils take second spot
Thomas Rotherham College were confirmed as runners-up as they finished their English Colleges League season with a convincing 4-1 victory at home to Wakefield.
TRC, who finished behind winners Park Lane College, Leeds, lost just three of their 16 league games.
"It is testament to the hard work and dedication of the players and staff from the smallest squad in the league," said coach Tony Mee.
