Sheffield had to settle for a point after letting a 4-1 lead slip as relegation threatened Bedworth United scored three in eight minutes to snatch a 4-4 draw, last night.

Daniel Dubidat gave the visitors an early lead but Club turned it around before the break with Zeph Thomas equalising (penalty) then firing his side in front after James Gregory had done the spade work. Thomas completed his hat-trick midway through the second half. After Bedworth scorer Dubidat had been sent off, Jamie Hadfield looked to have wrapped up the points nodding home goal number four.

Jon Bukasa pulled one back on 87 minutes though and Mitchell Piggon curled in a free-kick before a soft penalty conceded by Hadfield in the last minutes of time added on saw Piggon stroke home a penalty.

Stocksbridge Park Steels were routed 6-1 at Ilkeston. Goalkeeper Jack Ward was sent off. Nathan Joynes scored their only goal.

Goals either side of half-time from defenders Joe Wilcox and Andy Villerman saw Frickley Athletic beat Loughborough Dynamo 2-0 to reach the last four of the Doodson Sport League Cup
