FANS can line up against former Sheffield Wednesday and United players in a five-a-side tournament to raise charity cash.

The Team of Steel Cup will be held at Bramall Lane on May 26 to raise funds for the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity.

The first 14 teams to register for the tournament will secure a place in the same pool as two teams of veterans representing each Sheffield club as well as a team of actors from Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.

Rotherham referee, Howard Webb, who took charge of the 2010 World Cup final in South Africa, will be officiating.

Former players due to take part include defender Carl Bradshaw, who played for both Sheffield clubs during his career, and ex-Wednesday striker John Pearson who scored 24 goals in 105 appearances for the Owls between 1980 and 1985.
