Sheffield FC saw their winless run stretch to eight games following a 3-1 home loss to Gresley.
Alex Steadman scored for Gresley in a scrappy first half. After Andy Gascoigne had gone close with a volley over the bar, Sheffield grabbed the equaliser on 68 mins from a penalty awarded for handball and Gascoigne converted, after which Gresley defender Lucas Harrison was sent off for abuse. In the NCEL, Hallam lost 1-0 at home against Dinnington Town where Liam Cartledge was making his 450th appearance for the visitors. Town’s Grant Allott saw his wind assisted cross sail into the net.
Hallam had the chance to draw level midway through the second half when they were awarded a penalty only for Mark West to see his spot kick saved.
Parkgate made it four without defeat after beating Retford United 2-1, while Worksop Parramore romped to a 7-1 win at Liversedge and Dronfield Town pulled off a surprise win beating Shaw Lane Aquaforce 3-1 away.
