Sheffield increased their advantage on 42 mins when subs Mark Fereday turned in a Ben Turner cross. Steve Woolley and Ben Algar combined to set up Joel Purkiss to make it 3-0 on 65 minutes before Woolley wrapped up the points.
Stocksbridge Park Steels crashed to a 3-0 defeat at Matlock Town. Lavell White nodded on eight minutes. Darryl Thomas added a second on 22 minutes despite looking offside with Thomas scoring his second from a rebound to leave Steels with no way back.
In the NCEL, Hallam came from three goals down at the break to draw 3-3 at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic.
Lee Garside, Liam McFadyen and Scott Turner goals looked to have put the Briggers on their way. But Nicky Owen and Royale Johnson goals put Hallam back in the game before Julian Lawrence snatched a 90th minute leveller. Worksop Parramore won 4-2 at Nostell MW. Armthorpe Welfare went down 3-2 at Thackley.
