Hallam will hope to avoid a third loss in the space of eight days at Louth Town following defeats against Hemsworth MW then 3-1 at Clipstone Welfare on Tuesday.

It looks a tall order for Julian Watts side that are second bottom of Division One with just one win in nine. Second-placed Louth lost 3-1 in midweek at Astern Villa.

Parkgate have the chance to quickly put their first away defeat of the season behind them when they got to Hall Road Rangers, who are undefeated in five at home. The Steelmen lost out 2-1 at Glasshoughton Welfare in midweek.

Glasshoughton are the opponents for Premier Division leaders Worksop Parrmaore at Sandy Lane where Darren Bland’s side will be aiming to hang on to top spot.

Armthorpe Welfare are still searching for a first home league win of the season following a 3-2 defeat against Barton Town in midweek when squandering a two-goal lead.

They have another chance to end the home woes this weekend at the expense of Brighouse Town.

Maltby Main hope to make it two in a row at home against Tadcaster Albion, who are unbeaten in the last five.

Following a first home defeat of the season, 2-1 against Scarborough Athletic earlier in the week, Staveley MW should bounce back by picking up all three points at Inkersall Road against next to bottom Winterton Rangers.

Retford United go to Arnold Town looking to improve on an away record that has seen them pick maximum points just once in five away trips.

In-form Worsbrough Bridge Athletic visit Hemsworth MW in search of a fifth win on the spin.

Dinnington Town are at ninth-placed Pontefract Collieries. Steve Toyne’s side have been in good form on the road this season with their midweek 2-1 victory at neighbours Rossington Main making it four in five games.

Elsewhere, leaders Athersley Recreation entertain third-placed Clipstone Welfare in a game between two in-form teams.

Rossington Main will aim to make it three away without defeat against an out of sorts Cleethorpes Town.

AFC Emley take on Grimsby Borough at the Welfare ground and Askern Villa entertain a Teversal side that will be determined to extend their unbeaten away record to four games. Vila though will go into the game boosted by a Wednesday’s victory over high-riding Louth.
