CARCROFT Village made a successful debut in the Premier Division of the Doncaster Senior League with a 3-2 home victory over Edlington Town.

Sam Corner, Joe Fisher and Gary Mundy, were the Village marksmen - Chris Colley and Adam Francis replying for Town.

There was also a winning start for newcomers Brodsworth Welfare who beat Bawtry Town 2-1.

Gareth Phillipson and Aaron Strutt were the Welfare marksmen with Stephen Roberts replying.

Michael Eades, Ben Warren and Alex Moscardini netted for Hatfield Main as they accounted for Sutton Rovers by the odd goal in five.

Courtney Peynado and Leon Tarry shared out the Sutton goals.

Rossington Main posted a 4-0 win over Kinsley Boys. Nathan Fraser, Gascoigne, Storey and Green shared out the goals.

A brace from Alan Taylor, plus one by Jimmy Faulkner, saw South Kirkby Colliery record a 3-1 derby win their derby win over Hemsworth Town.

HMP Moorland took no prisoners when beating Division One rivals ISG Doncaster.

Cardwell and Benfield both notched a hat-trick for the winners.

An own goal helped Denaby United beat Highwayman 4-2.

Cantrell (2) and Daniel Noonan were also on target. Emmanuel Bocharie and Sulaiman Deekes-Massaquoi shared the Highwayman consolation goals.

Scawthorpe and Bentley Rhinos overcame South Kirkby Town 3-1 thanks to goals by Craig Croft, Joe Hodgson and Michael Smith.

After a goalless first half, Tony Bennett and Kyle Turner scored for Shafton Villa to secure them a 2-0 victory over Dunscroft United. A brace of goals by Steven Winder earned Ackworth United a 2-1 success over neighbours Hemsworth MW, for whom Dale Hall replied.

Honours were shared 3-3 when Sun Inn hosted Bawtry Town Reserves.

Brad Atherton (2) and Mark Barkham netted for the home side with Rodger Bows, Ben Leather and Robert Hollinger replying for Bawtry.
