BUOYANT York City manager Gary Mills has challenged his players to beat Luton Town in the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off final on Saturday and secure a Wembley double.
The Minstermen, who defeated Newport County 2-0 in the FA Trophy final last weekend, are a victory away from gaining promotion, having clinched their first cup since 1993 at the national stadium.
“I hope it’s the start of new things to come,” Mills said. “It’s a fantastic club and a fantastic city, with lovely, lovely people. We’ve worked so hard to achieve what we want to achieve. We want to win the double at Wembley - we have to finish it off next week.”
