A FORMER England international and a Sheffield United legend are set to take part in a charity match at the oldest football ground in the world next week.
Viv Anderson, capped 30 times by his country, and Carl Bradshaw are poised to feature in a Hallam Chairman’s Select XI v GAC Logistics All Stars XI game at Sandygate Road on Sunday October 9. Anderson, formerly of Sheffield Wednesday, and Bradshaw, who represented both Sheffield clubs, are among the ex-professionals in line to play.
All proceeds will go to the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Appeal. Tickets are £4 for adults and £1 for children and are available on the day.
