The players also signed posters and programmes for the starry-eyed youngsters

Said midfielder Mark Wilson: “We’re very privileged and very lucky people to be able to interact with the kids in schools on a Monday morning,

“We’ve enjoyed the coaching sessions, playing with the footballs and running around cones, doing a little bit of passing and heading – and just having some fun. It’s great to put a smile on the kids’ faces, it really is fantastic.”

“Hopefully we have converted a few kids into Doncaster Rovers’ supporters and that is something that we will try and do in every school we get into.”
