Have your say

DONCASTER Rovers were held at home but still remain top of the table.

Brian Flynn hammered home the message to his players before kick-off that Rovers could not afford to be complacent against a Portsmouth side destined for League Two.

The home side were quicker out of the traps and they registered the first attempt on goal within two minutes, Brown arching his back to get on the end of Cotterill’s free kick but his looped header did not trouble Eastwood.

Husband then drilled shot a shot from distance just wide as Doncaster started to move up through the gears.

The home side’s persistence soon paid off. Needless to say, it was Cotterill who provided a perfect cross from the right and BROWN peeled off his man to get there first, hooking it home from close range.

Pompey were by no means out of this with the score still at 1-0.

And it was no surprise at all when the equaliser arrived. Agyemang showed good strength and composure in the box to turn and lay it across the face of goal for WILSON to gratefully prod home from six yards.

Rovers had well and truly pushed the panic button. Hurried clearances were greeted by screams in the crowd as Wilson flashed another effort wide before Flynn responded by throwing on Hume for Paynter with ten to play.
