Picking up points by any means necessary should be Rovers’ main focus, according to Richie Wellens.
Boss Paul Dickov admitted last week he may have to curb his constant push for a victory to ensure Rovers stay outside the Championship’s bottom three.
While that will not mean setting out for a draw, it would involve Rovers knowing within games when settling for a share of the spoils would be the best option.
And the always forthright Wellens insists that is something Rovers should have been doing from the off.
“We should have done that four or five times this year when we’ve been getting beat and we’ve drawn level,” he told the Green’Un.
