If you had said we would have taken four points from the QPR and Birmingham games this time last week I would have snapped your hand off.
There seems to be a new found self-belief sneaking into Rovers and QPR, the multi-million pound team that Harry Redknapp has built, had no spine for the fight.
Rovers got a deserved winner from an unlikely source, Paul Quinn, heading his first goal for the club in Rob Jones at Stevenage style. The winning margin could have been greater had Rob Green not pulled off a great save from Richie Wellens in stoppage time.
I thought the crowd really acted as the 12th man in that second half. Why can’t we get behind them like that all of the time?
Onto Tuesday and St Andrews. After Lee Novak’s half volley and a cracker from David Cotterill, I thought in the end we could have won the game with Federico Macheda and Theo Robinson both going close.
Some fans looked a bit shocked when Paul Dickov took off both wingers and switched to 4-3-3, but he got it right.
So, this Saturday we are off to the Reebok Stadium.
It’s a new ground for me, although I had been to Burnden Park numerous times. I think we will have over 1,200 fans making the trip.
We shall be running coaches to the game, departing Retford at 10.15am, Harworth 10.20am, Bawtry/Rossington 10.30am, Sprotborough Ivanhoe/Hare and Tortoise 10.35am, Infirmary 10.45am and Keepmoat 11am.

The North Branch are also running a coach, departing Skellow Grange at 10.40am, Stick and Tape 10.45am, Adwick 10.50am, Don Valley 11am, Sun Inn York Road 11.05am, Bentley 11.10am and Askern 11.20am. Call 07780 316923 for more details.
The travel club also run coaches from the Hatfield area call, Ian Hepworth on 07946-333847.
It’s the last chance to get your Supporters Club Christmas draw tickets at Bolton. The draw will take place on Monday night at Harworth FC Social club at 7.30pm. All are welcome.
Also, remember the club shop is open Thursday night until 7pm up to Christmas.
Enjoy the game on Saturday. Only eight more sleeps until the Leeds match!
