Mark Duffy insists healthy competition for places will only benefit Doncaster Rovers throughout this season’s Championship.
The winger was arguably a surprise selection in Paul Dickov’s reshuffled side that faced Leicester City as David Cotterill and James Coppinger took places on the bench.
However, Duffy admits he will not rest on his laurels because he knows exactly what will happen with no less than four other recognised wingers all vying for a spot in Dickov’s starting line-up.
“You have to just accept that there is competition for places so when you get your chance, you just have to take it and keep yourself in the side,” he said.
