FORMER Doncaster Rovers defender Richard Naylor has been released by Rotherham United.
The 35-year-old, let go by Rovers after making 15 appearances at the start of the season, was signed by previous Rotherham manager Andy Scott in January.
But he made only five appearances and had been sidelined with knee trouble for the past two months. He returned as an unused substitute in the draw at Aldershot last Saturday.
“We had a long chat with Richard and decided that we would not be keeping him on,” said manager Steve Evans.
