Doncaster Rovers have completed the signing of Cedric Evina on a one-year deal.
The option of a further year exists in the 22-year-old left back’s deal.
Evina has been on trial with Rovers throughout the summer and travelled on the pre-season tour to Portugal earlier this month,
Cameroon born Evina started his career with Arsenal whom he first joined aged nine but failed to make a single senior appearance.
Following a successful loan spell he joined Oldham – then managed by Paul Dickov – on a permanent deal in January 2011.
He switched to Charlton at the end of that season and was part of the League One title winning side in 2012. Evina made just 12 appearances for the Addicks last season.
