Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov says it is a marker of how far his side have come that they were disappointed they failed to earn a third consecutive win at Peterborough yesterday.

Rovers battled out a goalless draw with Posh and, while admitting it was a fair result, Dickov says there were a few disappointed faces in the dressing room afterwards.

“I’ve told the players it isn’t a bad thing that they’re disappointed we didn’t get nine points out of nine,” Dickov said.

“We’re disappointed though that might be us being a bit greedy today.

“But that’s three clean sheets in a row now, so I give a lot of credit to the players.

“If you keep clean sheets, you pick up points.

“It’s not just the back five, it’s everyone, working their socks off starting from the front.”
