SHEFFIELD FC manager Mark Shaw is confident his players will rise to the occasion when they entertain Huddersfield Town at the BT Local Business Stadium tonight.

It is the second time in the space of a week Club will take on a professional club, having drawn 1-1 with Sheffield United last weekend.

Buoyed by a 3-1 victory over Retford United 48 hours ago courtesy of strikes from Cyrus Lewis, Shane Kelsey and Andy Gascoigne, Shaw is urging his players to adopt a positive approach against the Terriers.

“We hope that Huddersfield send a strong squad against us,” he said. “We want another difficult workout and we feel we can provide them with problems they may find useful during their campaign.

“Against Huddersfield, we will be looking for a more solid performance with players having that little bit more match fitness and hopefully the game will be even and more competitive.”

Tickets for the clash are priced at £6 for adults and £3 for concessions. Kick-off 7.30pm.
