Ground rises

THE first visible structures of Chesterfield's proposed new stadium at Whittington Moor will begin to grow in the next week or so.

Steelwork and precast concrete structures have been ordered and the club is confident that the stadium will be ready in mid-June 2010.

Around 900,000 has been spent on ground works - with the East Midlands Develop-ment Agency providing the majority of funding for that.
