Defenders to tie up deals
SPIREITES boss John Sheridan will be hoping to tie up two loose ends ahead of his squad formally reporting back for pre-season training tomorrow.
Defenders Ian Breckin and Gregor Robertson are still to put pen to paper to ensure they'll be part of the final season at Saltergate.
Ex-Miller Breckin, released by Nottingham Forest, is expected to sign a two-year contract with the club but it's believed there's still some work to be done ahead of any deal being finalised.
Another former Millmoor man, full-back Robertson, was offered another year after his previous contract expired and he too has yet to commit himself formally though it's expected that he will remain at Chesterfield.
