It was another midweek night of footballing drama for our teams, with two, Sheffield United and Chesterfield, coming from behind in sensational fashion, away to Colchester and Preston respectively, while Sheffield Wednesday were comfortable winners at Birmingham.

Rotherham were unlucky away to Bolton but Doncaster Rovers were involved in a bore draw with Crawley Town.

Here is some twitter reaction from fans to last night’s action...

Sheffield United

Don’t think the team has got started this season yet and still up in a playoff place...looks promising - @shoremboy

I put a quid on #sufc to win 3-2 as a joke last night.. Completely forgot about it til now. Love it! - @azzle94

Helluva comeback for @SUFC_tweets last night! Carry on up the table lads! - @felixbowlardo

Last nights game was as bad as crewe away last season until we did smash n grab #twitterblades - @tonybarrett697

Good 3 points cant deny.Going into games expecting to win somehow but not confident how.If that makes sense - @davbladesblood

In meltdown at 2 nil but never right off the spirit Nigel has created with this team no matter how bad we play #staypositive - @JamesMckenna10

Sounded like poor performance especially most of 2nd half, but love the fighting spirit from side to score 3 in 7 mins - ‏@SufcLee

Sheffield Wednesday

6 clean sheets in 9 games in league and cup for Sheffield Wednesday. Can’t complain with that. Took til February to get 6 last season - @JustJonWoz

A proper buzz around #swfc beating teams we wouldn’t normally, clean sheets, team morale seems high, Gray is the man and Mandaric is a god! - @mattywynne

#swfc will stay up but will drop too many points (Millwall & Bolton for example) to mount a serious playoff challenge. Target is 50pts asap - @richardfidler

Work with a Brum fan. He said they let teams back in game in last quarter. Turned out exactly right for #swfc last night - @Dadders

Not seen us have a DF as solid as this for years. Lees and Loovens were class last night and Westwood as cool as ya like happy days #swfc - @Flecko_85

Nowt finer than an away day win, dominant 2nd half performance! That defence is something else, absolute watertight!! #swfc - @MattyNeedham91

Cracking win for #swfc last night and well deserved. Our defence is impressive and great to start scoring again. Well done SG and team! - @andypars

Doncaster Rovers

#drfc not terrible last night, but lacking final ball into box, confidence up front and a plan. Just nothing about this team at moment - @markusparkus75

To get promoted you need a goalscorer. With a defence as leaky as Rovers, you really need two. Not Theo and Tyson - @Gazz_Long

Well if thats what we do after a wake up call then I dread to think what could happen if we had pressed snooze - @kev_mcclone

My dog is fast, but has no skill what so ever with a football. Can he have a contract at #DRFC and play up front as well? - @__Padge

Dickov needs to swallow every bit of pride he’s still got admit he’s failed and walk away before it gets embarrassing for us all - @AdamdrfcCox

I don’t get how everyone’s saying our performance tonight was terrible.. If it wasn’t for Ashdown we’d of won at least 4-0 - @callumjonesdr2

Can’t understand why fans want Dickov out. Is there another manager we could afford and have barely any money to spend on transfers? - @AdDaws

Rotherham United

We may be 19t in Championship but at least we are in The Championship and still safe. Long way to go. Lets enjoy it - @rufcjoe87

Think we’re showing teams too much respect this season! Some may say its naive in this league, but I think we should get at teams more - @KCM_north_stand

Tippy tappy, slow tempo, build from back possession football won’t wash with majority of #rufc fans. Can’t be done anyway with current squad - @millmoor2nys

Jordan Bowery has surprised me tbh, whenever he’s played upto now he’s been average, then he goes and scores 2 in 2, fair play to him - @deano94rufc

Learn from our mistakes and misjudgements and focus on the next one, Saturday. No overreaction needed - @SRowbotham91

Definitely not good enough tonight, no width, no strikers wanting the ball into feet so we pump it long again. Arnason best player - @BThornton92

Chesterfield

Can’t believe that happened. Amazing character to come back from 3-0 down - @CousinsRichard

This is a very special @ChesterfieldFC side, managed by a very special manager. Bear witness to the Blue Terror, comrades! - @DoctorWrecks

Unbelievable Jeff! Super @eoindoyle88 proving every doubter wrong this season including myself #KeepItUp #spireites #ScoresWhenHeWants - @bulbelliott

What a cracking point from the #Spireites. If only we’d started from the 1st minute!! Really is an unbelievable comeback!! - @JT_Spire
