The last time Chesterfield took on Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup, they were ousted from the competition.

Wanderers won that game 1-0 in November 1998 at Adams Park thanks to Keith Scott’s goal.

Three years ago Town were 2-0 victors over Wycombe.

Ollie Banks and Armand Gnanduillet, both now former Spireites, were on the scoresheet at the Proact.

Only five of the matchday squad in that game remain at the club today.

The last time the two clubs met, in February 2014, Wycombe were 1-0 winners thanks to a Max Kretzschmar penalty, given for a handball by Ian Evatt.

Paul Cook was sent to the stands for his protests and Evatt later had a goal ruled off for offside.

There was more controversy when a Tendayi Darikwa challenge brought a yellow card and a shoving match between players.
