Arguably the game on Saturday, like many, will be won or lost in midfield.
For Chesterfield and Sheffield United then, the battle between Sam Morsy and Chris Basham could prove pivotal.
Morsy, 23, has quickly become a key man for Dean Saunders’ side with his tough-tackling and crisp passing a crucial component to the Spireites’ game.
As for the Blades, Basham is flexible enough to impress at either centre-half of centre midfield and it is likely the latter will be where he will play at the weekend.
Basham admitted United weren’t good enough during their hammering at Gillingham last weekend and his battle with Morsy in the middle of the park will be intriguing.
Morsy meanwhile will be hoping to follow up from his goal in the 3-1 win over Barnsley as Saunder’s men aim to claim another South Yorkshire scalp.
