Spireites boss John Sheridan has saluted his players following back-to-back away wins.
He said: “I just want to praise the players, they’ve been quality and they responded after a few people had been saying a few things, we’ve only lost one in fourteen. I knew we weren’t playing that well but I didn’t want to get carried away by telling the players they weren’t playing too well.
“I just wanted them to get some belief back and in the last two games and the first half at Bury, we’ve shown we’re a decent team.”
With Mark Allott, Dwayne Mattis, Simon Ford, Jack Lester and Danny Whitaker missing out of late for various reasons, the manager added: “I’m leaving people out who’d walk into any other side in this division, so whoever comes in and plays, they’re responding, they all want to stay in the side and it’s making my job very hard.
“I’ve got a great dressing room, they all get on with each other and I like working with them.”
