The Daily Mail claims that Danny Wilson has decided not to throw the former Blades striker into the action when the Owls visit this weekend.

It is thought Evans is more likely to make his first appearance on UK soil in Chesterfield colours against Matlock next week, in a more low key affair.

But some Spireites fans have expressed the viewpoint that Evans and the club need to grow accustomed to the hostility the controversial signing might encounter.
