Today is the final day for Chesterfield supporters to get season tickets at early-bird discount prices.
Then there is an intermediate discount available for another month before the tickets revert to full-price on June 18.
Renewals have been encouraging despite relegation and the club has reported that there are plenty of new faces taking up the opportunity of purchasing season tickets.
Many supporters have been waiting any news about team building, which remains at an early stage. The club has made it clear that they are looking for a squad of 22 players and that, during the season proper, they will not be looking to supplement that number via loans.
In 2010-11 when Spireites won the League Two title, John Sheridan called on a total of 26 players during the league season whilst last term’s relegation season had a total of 36 players involved.
Sheridan has been set two objectives for the new season; a top three spot and to retain the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
