Wigan were 1-0 victors over Bradford, the Bantams slipping out of the play-off positions, replaced by Barnsley.
Sheffield United went down 1-0 to Millwall, Coventry and Swindon played out a 0-0 draw, Southend and Gillingham finished 1-1, and there was also a draw between Bury and Shrewsbury, who scored two apiece.
