Spireites travel to Gigg Lane tonight looking for a valuable win having slipped back to the foot of the table after their last match.

Having led at Carlisle 10 days ago before succumbing to two late goals, John Sheridan’s men returned to bottom spot and with this weekend’s home game with Charlton Athletic a victim of the weather, they remain in 24th place.

Four of their rivals play each other tonight so a win at Bury will be a massive boost for the B2net side.

Mark Allott and James Hurst picked up knocks at Brunton Park but may be fit enough to be considered. Craig Westcarr (ankle) is fit enough for selection but Jimmy Juan (calf) is unlikely to be risked.

Should Hurst not make it, his right back slot could be filled by either Drew Talbot, moving back from right wing, or Jamie Lowry who’s adaptability makes him a choice for several positions. Centre half Simon Ford could also be deployed there.

Chesterfield’s clash with table-topping Charlton has now been re-arranged for Tuesday February 28, kick-off 7.45pm. Tickets for the original match remain valid.
