COLCHESTER United, who travel to the B2net Stadium on Saturday, will be without influential midfielder John-Joe O’Toole.

A red card for violent conduct at Brentford means he’ll be missing. The Spireites’ main injury worry surrounds Middlesbrough loanee Jonathan Grounds, who has extended his stay until November 26.

He picked up an ankle injury at Charlton but is hoping to return to training tomorrow ahead of the game. Should he be unavailable, Dean Holden will start.

United, in their first visit to Chesterfield’s new home, hope to recreate the form they showed at Saltergate. The Essex side won four of their last six visits there. On their last visit, in 2006, they battled back from 2-0 down to draw.

Ian Henderson, once of Rotherham United ,and former Barnsley man Kayode Odejayi are both ever-present this season, though neither managed a goal in September.
