Ex-Owls loanee gets in Under 21 call

FORMER Sheffield Wednesday loanee Ben Marshall is named in Stuart Pearce’s England U21 squad which rounds off a UEFA Championship double header at Chesterfield a week on Monday.

Marshall, now at Leicester, gets a first call as does Blackpool’s Tom Ince, son of Paul.

England top Group 8 and a win in Azerbaijan on September 6 and then over second-placed Norway at Chesterfield’s Proact Stadium on September 10 would secure a play-off in October for a place in the Euro 2013 finals.
