Spireites fans have voted to have a predominantly black away kit next season.
Supporters were given a choice of three, the other two being a white shirt and blue shorts or a green and white striped shirt with navy shorts. The black shirt with a white shoulder feature polled 41.5% of the votes, just ahead of the striped alternative.
Director Ashley Carson said: “I’d like to thank everyone who voted. I’m amazed that over 500 fans took part. It was a very closely fought contest in the end. It was so close that we’ll have to give serious consideration to producing a green and white striped design next time.”
Whilst Paul Cook will be hoping Armand Gnanduillet’s abductor problem will clear up in time for the trip to Burton Albion on Saturday, his counterpart Gary Rowett is hoping to have a quartet available for selection.
The Brewers’ home game with Wycombe was off last week and that will allow Michael Symes (hamstring), Calvin Zola (hip / hamstring), Aaron Webster (hamstring) and Nathan Stanton (knee) extra time to recover. All were doubtful for the promotion chasers last weekend.
There will be no entry on the day for ticketless Spireites fans, so supporters need to buy their tickets in advance from the Proact Stadium.
Nathan Smith is out for the rest of the season with a broken bone in his ankle whilst Craig Clay, recovering from a double hernia operation, may be fit for inclusion in the squad.
