Chesterfield boss Paul Cook will decide whether to stick or twist as his side look ahead to Saturday’s crunch clash at Hartlepool United.

Dan Gardner, who has only recently returned from injury, and Sam Hird offer alternatives if Cook opts to remain with his favoured 4-2-3-1.

The loans of attacking pair Dan Kearns, from Peterborough United, and Mason Bennett, from Derby County, aend after Saturday’s clash with Colin Cooper’s Pools side.
