Barnet’s number two, Richard Huxford, was the man credited with an own goal on 88 minutes that gave The Spireites late hope after a goal in each half from Gary Bull had given the Bees a two-goal cushion. The game was watched by 3,140 fans.

The photo features three players who scored 24 league goals between them for Chesterfield, but Carr and Hebberd accounted for only three of those; the rest were scored by Harry Willis, playing in the gold of Barnet that day.
