Spireites boss Paul Cook knows what his team must do at the Kassam Stadium this afternoon.
He said: “When you go to Oxford, to come away with a result there, you’re going to have to play well.
“They are on a good run but so were Bristol Rovers, who we beat last week.
“It’s about us turning up, playing well and representing our supporters in a correct and proper manner.
“If we do that, I believe we can win the game.”
Getting back to winning ways last weekend has boosted the club’s morale and the boss wants more. Cook said: “That creates an environment of where we all want to be. The more wins you get the more people come into the ground, the busier the bars are, the busier the concourses are. The more money we have in the club, that can go back into the foundations of the club. My job is to try and win games.”
Oxford’s victory over Barnet this week moved Chris Wilder’s side to within five points of the League Two play-offs.
