Ollie Banks has set his sights on establishing himself as a first team regular at Chesterfield.
The Spireites midfielder has won The Football League’s Young Player of the Month Award for November.
The 21-year-old, who joined the club only n September from FC United of Manchester, scored four goals in the month for Chesterfield as part of a series of impressive displays.
Goals in the wins over Torquay United and Wycombe Wanderers followed a brace in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy victory against Rochdale.
Banks said: “It’s good recognition and I’m just happy to be in and around the team.
“It took some time to adjust over the first few weeks but now I’m playing I feel settled and want to do my best for the team.”
