BRODSWORTH United got off the mark in the Doncaster Sunday Alliance League Division Two at the second time of asking with a 5-1 win at AFC Cusworth.

Darren Bird notched a hat-trick with Keiron Williams and Aaron Strutt also netting. Jamie Hillier replied for the home side.

Glad Old Boys lost 5-3 at HPK. Michael Wibberley scored all four goals in Carpenters Arms’ 4-0 win at Rosehill Press. Windmill and Armthorpe Albion drew 0-0.

Balby Academy of Sport made it three wins from as many starts in Division Three when beating Waggies 6-0. Jordan Lewis (2), Tim Miles, Chris Waterhouse, Matthew Barker and Keiron Ferguson registered.

There were plenty of goals on the menu at Grove Carvery as South Kirkby Colliery served up a 11-4 win.

Nathan Allinson and Ryan Wattam were on target in Leger Lions’ 2-0 win. Ingram Arms shared the spoils with Armthorpe Village whilegoals by David Hartshorn and Reece Pedgen secured Horse & Groom Town a 2-1 win at Maltings.

Nathan Booth, Matthew Lindley and Liam Salter were the White Hart Colts’ marksmen in their 3-2 win over Tank (Adrian Howe, Ray Cheung).

David Bathgate (2), Ryan Gomersall and Damien Bevan netted for Campsall in their opening Division Four game at home to Yorkshire Grey.

Dean Griffiths claimed five of the goals in Rossington United’s 8-3 win at Cantley Rovers. Peter Shelley, Luke Wilkinson and Dale Mullins also netted. Harvester beat Bay Horse by the odd goal in three. Hatfield Woodhouse had to settle for consolation goals by Chris Drewerley and Aiden Dooley when going down 5-2 at unbeaten leaders Hesley.

Balby Rec romped to a 10-1 Division Five win at M25.

A Paul Nicholson hat-trick and a Richard Crawforth brace meant a 5-1 defeat for Rossington Poacher at home to Inter Debs.

Goals by Paul Kustyszin (2), Rob Hannam, Mark Pearson and Liam McCarthy saw Willaspoons run out 5-1 winners at New Railway Tavern.

Joe Byron and Richard McGowan both hit a hat-trick in The Vaults’ 9-0 win over The Askern. Chris Chambers, Sam Weston and Rob Burton also chipped in with goals.
