Reds close in on double raid

BARNSLEY are on the verge of completing a double swoop.

The Star understands they are set to sign two midfielders with Stoke City’s Michael Tonge - a former Sheffield United player - and Norwich’s Korey Smith expected to join. Tonge, aged 28, until the end of the season and 20-year-old Smith until February 25.
