Reds call up
BARNSLEY defender Jay McEveley has received a welcome international call-up to the Scotland side.
The Tykes left-back has impressed so far in his first season for the Oakwell club - and his recent form has been rewarded with selection for Craig Levene's side due to begin their 2012 Euro Championship qualifying double header against Lithuania and Liechtenstein this week.
Scotland face Lithuania at the Darius Girenas Stadium in Kaunas tonight, followed by a home match with Liechtenstein on Sunday at Hampden Park.
McEveley has played three times for Scotland, but has not played for his country since 2008.
Reds manager Mark Robins said: "I'm delighted. It's fantastic for him and the club."
