BARNSLEY face a trip to reigning Premier League champions Manchester City in the quarter finals of the FA Cup, writes Dom Howson.

The Reds, who have gone eight matches without defeat since David Flitcroft replaced Keith Hill at the helm, will head to the Etihad Stadium on March 9. The draw was made this evening by Graham Turner and former Barnsley boss Simon Davey.

The Championship strugglers have already beaten Burnley, Hull City and MK Dons in the competition.

FA Cup quarter final draw:

Oldham Athletic or Everton v Wigan Athletic

Manchester City v Barnsley

Manchester United or Reading v Middlesbrough or Chelsea

Millwall v Blackburn Rovers
