BARNSLEY: Reds deserved more - Jonathan Greening

LOAN midfielder Jonathan Greening was adamant Barnsley were unlucky not to at least take a point at home to Cardiff City.

The Reds slipped to a 2-1 loss on Saturday and have now not won at home in the league for nearly three months, their last home win coming back on September 1.

“We played well in patches, but we were disappointed to let them score from two set-plays,” admitted Greening, on loan from Nottingham Forest.

“The lads are very disappointed because we put on a good show and, even though Cardiff have gone top of the league, we didn’t embarrass ourselves.”
