BARNSLEY boss David Flitcroft believes new signing Rory Delap will use his experience to cement his first-team place.
Stoke City loan recruit Delap made his debut in last Saturday’s 2-0 away win over Blackpool, but admitted he needed to play more games to rediscover his match fitness.
“I’m not worried about Rory, games will get him fit,” Flitcroft told The Star, ahead of today’s away clash with Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.
“He’s got bags of experience and that’s going to help with his steady progression.”
