BARNSLEY manager Keith Hill hopes to spread some festive cheer and take his mind off the club’s league woes when he and his squad visit Barnsley Hospital’s Children Ward tomorrow.

Under-pressure Hill, who slammed referee Stuart Attwell’s performance in the wake of the club’s 1-0 home loss to Sheffield Wednesday, said: “It is really important to me as a family man to get a sense of reality back.

“This is a great job but it is not life and death and it feels like it sometimes. To visit the children will be magnificent for myself and the players.”
