BARNSLEY have cancelled the contracts of striker Mido and defender Lee Collins by mutual consent.
Former Egyptian international Mido has played just 27 minutes of first-team football this season while former Port Vale player Collins has not played a single game.
The Reds also swooped yesterday to sign Sheffield Wednesday striker Chris O’Grady on loan until the end of the season, manager David Flitcroft’s second signing.
He brought in free agent Jason Scotland following his departure from Ipswich Town.
