DELIGHTED Dave Flitcroft hailed a collective effort from his rapidly improving team after they beat ten-man Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.

Jim O’Brien’s first goal of the season and sub Jason Scotland’s late strike earned the three points as the Reds stretched their unbeaten run to six games.

“We’ve not set any safety targets or anything like that, we’ve just got to keep concentrating on doing our best,” said Flitcroft.

“To beat Blackpool was a terrific result. They’re a team full of Premier League players.”
